FJRunner lift installed (FJ springs/shocks and front spacer)

So this past week I had my lift installed. What do you guys think? I used FJCruiser front coilovers with a 1/2" spacer (1"lift) and in the rear are just FJ springs and shocks. I like the look, but it is dead flat. With a load or a trailer, it might sag. I am debating between rear air bags or a rear 1" spacer. Any pros/cons?

Looks awesome! Love my Airlift 1000, no regrets. It doesn't lift appreciably but it does minimize sag. I'd look at the Firestone kit too. It's very good. Link in sig.

perfect...now i wont have to start a new thread...i had some questions on this same setup.... i have an 08’ with XREAS and this weekend ill be purchasing a set of 4 FJ springs/shocks. [$100 from someone locally] I want to keep the XREAS so do I just use the springs and sell the shocks? Doing this I will not lose the XREAS correct? Also when I decide on which level kit to get I get the one made for the 4runner correct since im only using the FJ Springs?

The FJ springs will give me approx a 3/4” lift right? Combined with the wheel spacers this will allow for larger tires when I am ready to purchase in October , I have 18’s so im wondering how big I can go?

Well... 4Runner or FJC won't matter as far as spacer lifts are concerned even with XREAS. You can mix and match as desired. Once you study it you'll see most of the part#'s match up between the two vehicles.

Search for the user ProMeds T4R of the month post for pics. Spaceman jammed the same sized tire on with no lift. He made a good post too.

I would also consider saving the FJC shocks. If you keep your T4R "forever" then you might be glad you did. XREAS shocks are outrageously priced and at a 100k or some point down the road you may want to just put on 4 regular shocks. Just a thought...

I do not have xreas. As far as measurements go, I didn't do a great job of a before (i.e. nothing) and have done just as much for after. It looks like the aforementioned 3/4" is about what I received in the front. I would ballpark that rear at next to nothing. This is why I am debating putting a spacer in there too.
 
I' so tossed right now. Doing the lift next week at friends shop.

I go back and forth between FJ springs at all 4 corners and my 1" CF front (1/2" spacer) or leave the springs in and put my (1.125"spacer) 2.25 lift and my 1.5 rear spacer from Daystar . I would like the springs in , but will be to high with the DS kit . As it is I'm not going to use my preload spacer because I don't want it that high and tippy feeling.
