They retail for $995.00 a kit and are available through any of our distributors. Thanks

Is that $995 for both the front and rear kit to lift my runner 3 inches?

This is only for the front suspension. You're gonna have to find some other kit for the rear.

Check out OME's for the rear or add some spacers.

Good luck

Isn't it about time for the Donahoe rear coil spring to become available?

I still have the NE rear spacer in place. It has worked just fine with the aftermarket shocks installed with the Donahoe front suspension. However, I would like to upgrade to the Donahoe springs and shocks when they become available.

BTW: I now have several thousand miles on the Hoe's, and they still work just as new. Many of the miles are driving at warp speeds thru the Ozarks on very tight twisty roads. The Hoe's hold the 4Runner flat better than the Xraes ever did.

I'm sure they're working on something. I know they'll make some rear shocks but not sure on if they're making rear coils. Maybe they're going to package their rear shocks w/ OME coils? dunno.

We are working on both a rear shock and coil-spring. Unfortunately, we have numerous other products that are ahead of these in the release cycle. I am guessing that it will be late September before these are released.

RL -

What aftermarket shocks are you running? I recently installed the Cornfed lift and want to replace my stock rear shocks with longer aftermarket shocks to compensate for the spacers.

Thanks -

Some big fat Rancho's I would guess. They say Mike's Off Road on them. Thick and fit perfect.

I guess I'll have to wait until September or October to lift my Runner. I would like to use the Donahue Racing coilovers all around because I really like the front coilover shock setup.

I see in catalogs the Donahoe Racing also build spacer lifts for the Tundra/Tacoma. Will you guys being making spacer lifts for the Runners??? Any release dates? T.I.A.

We do plan to manufacture a spacer for this application as well. Unfortunately, we do not have a release date or pricing yet. I will post it as soon as we do. Thanks

Are there any updates on the DR rear solution for the 4runner? Are we still looking at September? If you need a guinea pig, just let me know. I'm located near you! ;):

-Eagerly awaiting!

If you need a 4wd 4Runner to use as a setup prototype for the Donahoe rear coilover shocks; I'd happily volunteer my vehicle. I live in the Inland Empire area!

As soon as there is a DR Solution for all 4 wheels, I'm in. (Assuming the rear solution is coil-based.) I guess I'm going to have to hold out another month or so? Please tell me it's not much longer than that.

Also, please tell me exactly what you mean by 33" -- I've got the factory 17's, so I'm thinking I'll probably go with Goodrich AT/KO's, 285/70R17's on the factory rims (which I think are 7.5" wide). These tires are 32.8" in diameter and 11" wide on 8" rims, so maybe a touch less on 7.5" rims. I'm willing to change the upper control arms if necessary -- probably Total Chaos. Oh, and I can remove mudflaps if necessary. Would you expect these to fit without any trimming? I really don't want to trim anything.

fitting 285's will require heavy trimming even with a 3" lift (you can't fit 285's w/o a lift too btw). Expect to remove the flaps guaranteed. Trimming requires removing a section of the front bumper (due to it clipping when you turn). Other areas are the frame which you can't do much about unless you want to cut into it (not recommended at all..). other areas to consider are the inner fender wall that will rub as well. The only true way to check is by test fitting the wheel and the tire.

Remember that each tire mfg and each wheel are different so test fit first before committing to anything.

Not sure what DR's timeline is regarding the rear coil setup (Yes I'm guessing it'll be a coil and shock combo) but I suspect it'll be awhile. Email them directly for more information.

I realize if anybody would know it's you, based on your own setup. But... I've tried finding info from anyone who's run this exact tire with a similar lift and haven't found anything. According to the manufacturer the BFG AT in 285/70R17 is the same diameter but _slightly_ narrower on the same width rim as the 285/75R16 (11.0 versus 11.4 inches on an 8" wheel).

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/assets/pdf/all_terrain_ta_kd.pdf

If you look at the vehicle pictured in the second post of this thread, although it doesn't specifiy, I'd guess those to be 285/75?16's on 16x8 wheels (I could be wrong) -- mudflaps look removed, but who knows what else. But, the original post said the lift would accomodate 33" tires.

I had the BFG 265/70R17's on my recently-traded-in '04 SE with a Daystar lift and had only occassional _very mild_ rubbing at full lock, full compression without any trimming and without even removing mudflaps. Those are listed as 1" smaller in diameter (0.5" smaller in radius) and 0.3" narrower (10.7" on 8" wheels versus 11.0" on 8" wheels) compared to the 285/70R17's.

So, the bottom line is, I have a hard time understanding why any significant trimming will be needed, assuming I change UCA's and remove mudflaps.

I don't understand what you mean by trimming the front bumper. I can sort of see trimming the front inner corner of the flair.

You're right, a test fit makes the most sense -- unfortunately no one in my town carries these sizes so they have to be ordered in. Also, it would be nice to have details ahead of time -- for example, If it turns out I can never get these to fit without a body lift then I might get that done at the same time. Or, alternatively, decide to blow off that size, stick with the 265/70R17's and not even spend the money on the UCA's. ARGH!

Once I (hopefully) get min to fit I'll post details. Again, I'm suprised I haven't found anything on this yet.

Thanks for the great advice!
