Just did the exhaust order and should be here by weeks end. The exhaust is damn cheap (my m5 exhaust was 1200 bucks and that was below cost at the time i purchased it).

I delt with Magnaflowexpress.com and they were great to deal with.

Should be here by weeks end and I can get it put on in about 45 min...

a nice little present for myself...last little thing to get done to the truck is the Scion HU

Well ill take some pics and certainly do some video clips considering the board seems to be lacking alot of them.
 
Its Installed!!

Well, I just installed the magnaflow cat-back side exit #15781!

Everything went smooth and the quality of this kit is very good! The sound is very nice. I only drove 15 miles on the highway so I can't give my opinion yet but initially, it appears to be what I was looking for. It is very deep sounding, almost like what a C6 vett sounds like. A deep sounding loud at WOT and I didn't notice any "drone" at 65 to 70. I have to drive it more!

The kit came with 2 pipes that go from the cat flange to the muffler. One is short and one longer. I used the short pipe. Worked perfect, fit perfect!

Note: The box and instructions said nothing about fitting an 05, but it did!
I have to go for a ride now!! Pics and maybe a sound clip to follow. Will post in exhaust section!

I paid 395 shipped. Not bad considering it shipped 3000 miles.

Just got back from a ride down to the beach. I think I'm going to like this. Big difference because it was so quiet before. I'll post pics tonight. You will love the new tips. My friends Magnaflow's tips are different. His has magnaflow engraved in the tips and they appear rolled. Mine look like they were made out of a block of aluminum, no edges! I'll try to show it in the pics. Now off to a wake :(

What are the hp and trq increases and/or the benfits to the curves?

Does it fit '05 with spare in place?

Maybe a couple HP's but nothing noticable. The most noticable difference will the the sound, esp with a V8. Several people with 05 V8's have put them on and they said it fits fine. Be sure to order from Performance Peddler... price is $383 shipped.
 
Thanks...perhaps when the racecar is done I'll put some money into making the 4Runner (daily driver and tow vehicle) a better noisemaker.

First time I've had a V8 worth doing this to...so maybe it'll be sooner than later.

I'd love to hear a sound clip. $383 for a nice sounding exhaust is very tempting?

Has anyone installed this themselves? How hard were the bolts if so. Oh yea.... PICS please.
