haha, watching that reminds me of that porsche cayenne comercial where the guy is reving the engine repeatedly, gets out and picks the phone up from underneath the muffler. Then he says to the phone, "Cool huh?! I know....."

I like mine the more I drive it! Now we need to hear the TRD/Borla. That would be cool to have both or I should say all three!
By the way, I wonder if there is any special way to take care of the tips during the winter? Suckers get hot thats for sure!

Sounds great. There's no real way tot ake care of the tips except to clean them everytime you wash your truck. Windex or any window cleaner will do the trick.

Thanks guys...always here to help on performance stuff as its my strong point.
The tips look great and should be cleaned with just soap and water normally and when a nice polish is needed, use a quality metal polish to help them looking sparkly..
The sound is great but its has gotten louder since i've had it. The drone at highway is not bad but Im also alot less prone than alot of people to be bothered by it. Its not exactly quiet from about 1500-2200 but its liveable as long as your tolerant and any significant other is as well.

that they do...its actually the same system, except instead of using the supplied V8 intermediate pipe, you use the supplied V6 intermediate pipe...
Same system, and it comes wtih both parts for the V8 and V6.

Casper that sounds fantastic man!!! I've had this on my list as one of the next things for my 4R and I really appreciate you taking the time to post up a soundclip. For some reason it sounds very familiar to a Mustang with exhaust on it in the video.
Also about cleaning the tips. I have a Magnaflow cat-back on my Saleen and use Mother's aluminum polish after every wash on them so they stay looking their best. It's also a show car that takes top honors 99.9% of the time and has been in two magazines. I wouldn't use any other product on those tips.

I have to say I hope it doesn't get any louder in the 1600 2200 range. For some reason, its the loudest there, especially holding around 1800 up a hill until it shifts again. Cruising drone really is not bad around 65 70. I wish I could compare this to the TRD exhaust. I wonder if its as loud.
Overall, I'm happy just hope it doesn't get too loud over time. Wonder if this increases hp considering the same motor in the tundra is 282.
One more question: Do I need to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery or will it adjust over time?

I would think you did not change the back pressure that much. Plus the computer is "Intelligent" and can/should adjust timing and air/fuel ratios accordingly.
I just can not seem to justify throwing away a perfectly good cat-back for a new one. Unless I *knew* I where unleashing about 20+ HP.... Yea a better sound would be nice. I like the manly sound of the Nissan Armada's....
My 2002 Highlander has cats and then TWO, yes 2, mufflers. Does my 05 v8 have 2 mufflers? If so, then I should think the back pressure would be significantly reduced with your new system.

I just got a Magnaflow 18" 2.5 center inlet outlet installed with a nice stainless steel tip. Lemme tell you, If you put an exhaust on the V-6, its not going to sound anything like the V-8. I am not sure how happy I am with it.
Its got a nice throaty tone at WOT, but cruising around the city, I guess it could maybe pass off as a V-8, untill you step into it. Wifey has the digi cam , otherwise I would post some pics.
If I could find my Video camera I would post a clip..
