i know someone will laugh at me.. but im still new to this.. what is
XREAS? im fixing to buy a 4 Runner and i was debating on an 05 or 06...

XREAS is a special kind of suspensions that links the diagonal shocks together to reduce body roll. It is a simple setup but really improves cornering of the truck. It doesn't feel topheavy at all. This suspension is standard on the Sport and optional on the Limited.
 
I am wondering if the 2006 4runner ads are a typo or scam. The features listed don't seem to match what people had talked about the 2006 having on this site.
 
I was curious so I called them up and the guy said the '06s weren't actually on the lot yet, it's part of their inventory "in transit" - said they'd arrive around 9/1.
 
I think if it's in their inventory, the options would have to be some what accurate. But, I agree, all those options seem 'cut and paste' from previous years.

Well.... At least they got the new color right. :)
 
Carson Toyota isn't too far away from me. I attempted to buy my 4runner there before I finally ended up doing business with Longo.

They do frequently list cars in their web site that ARE NOT in their inventory. Supposedly those cars have arrived already and are sitting at the holding yard in Long Beach. If you've ever seen that place it literally has miles of cars (all types) waiting to be trucked, railed or driven to their point of sale within the U.S.
 
I agree it is either a typo or a scam. RSA is not offered on the 2006 unless you get the Rear Seat Entertainment system (i.e. DVD system). Plus production did not start until August so it is impossible for any to be here in the US yet.
