Trade '05 Sport for an '06 Sport?

I really like the new 4Runner look and the updated features. Esp, bluetooth, projector headlights, and Hill Assist (although I have no use for it).

Now is it worth it for me to trade in my perfectly fine 2005 Sport with 15k miles in for a 2006 Sport? What do you guys think it'll cost me? KBB trade in value has mine at $24,500. hmm...

That's only something you can decide...

Personally, I'm not even considering trading my '05 Sport for an '06 Sport.

I do like the projector headlamps; new tail lamps; MP3 capable stereo; and power seat.

I don't like the Sport's chrome grill; the larger, rounded fenders (makes the tires/wheels look smaller); the new rear bumper (without the reflectors) and the tube-style side steps.

I also do not like the chrome door handles and liftgate garnish on the SR5.

I do like the new 18" wheels on the Limited. It seems like I've come full circle -- when the '03s first came out, I did not like the cladding so the only model I would have considered was the Limited.

By the way -- HAC (Hill Start Assist Control) is not new for '06. Your '05 has it.

In my opinion, you'll end up taking a bigger hit on the trade in value then what would make it worth it. I saw the new 06' this past weekend and although there are certain aspects of it I really liked, I'll stick with my 04'.

You'll probably loose too much on you '05 as a trade-in value then in a few years difference between two vehicles. So if you just want '06, it's your choice. I had the same issue with my '05 Limited, but then decide that it not worth the difference in trade-in value now and in 3-4 years. So I stayed with my '05 and I like it.
