Hey yall I just picked up an '06 V6 SR5 4WD about 2 weeks ago and I just love it! It's white and it has the 3rd row, tow package, 17", rear-side airbags, rear spoiler and black roof rails - altogether I paid about $250 over invoice. I love the gated shifter, projector headlamps, reclining rear seats, mini-jack and just the rugged good looks of it. I was looking at the highlander and "bleh" - fugly. The engine is so smooth and it ride too, except on a few bumps where it reminds you you've in a truck. It feels like a car when you drive it, but when you step outside and look at it it's huge. The 3rd row is for midgets and kids, adults will hit their head on bumps, even though they recline a notch. Originally I was looking for an 05 one with the special rebate, but there was no selection on them. Also, I wanted to trade the 17"s for the 18" ones on the 06 Limited, but they couldn't do that. I'm really not going to off road. But nice to know that I have it and 10 HANDLES inside the truck for everyone to hold on to! The excess chrome on the SR5 isn't bad, adds a little more 'class' but the door handles do get noticablely dirtier. And I wish they'd color match the side view mirrors. Couple of gripes (of course) the storage under the HVAC is too small, it should hold CDs or something. The writing pad is useless, trash bag holder?!, and the center console should be a double decker design. Other than that Toyota pulled through, rugged good looks on the outside and basic but easy-to-use design on the inside combined with their rep for durability. Thanks for the space
