yeah....ummm....can you do that? LOL!

how can you just post a picture and not explain how you are going up 4.5" and not ripping through cv boots and what not?

96' 4Runner Limited 4wd-Everything done myself...so if you have any questions throw them my way :2.5in suspension lift, 2in RB body lift, 33inch pro-comp X's, McCulloch 10k HID bulbs (see picture), pro-comp suspension shocks (front and rear), custom flowmaster catback dual exhaust, chrome brush guards (front and rear), Helo Maxx 16x10 wheels, Aux. Lighting (10 front,2 rear), competition sound system(will have pictures and write up later), Clifford matrix alarm, remote start, k&n filter, airbox elbow removed, performance chip, Black JDM Headlights and corners, Blackout film on taillights...more later.

No problems with the CV boots. I've had the lift on for almost a year.

that's because you are only running 2.5" suspension lift. looks good. how is the stabillity at highway speeds being that high? plus the 2" you gain with the 33's too! nice looking truck!
 
What kind of HP gains did you receiving using the performance chip and how has it impacted your gas mileage?
 
performance chip...

I've been through 3 performance chips and by far this performance chip is the best. You can feel it as soon as you install it. Very easy install too. The company has sold over 700 and 100% feedback on ebay. The chip takes the engine well into the redline range. Don't know if that is good or bad, but it sure is fun! I also noticed an instant boost when I removed the elbow from the air box.

Who needs a performance chip when they already have a 5spd? :D
 
JDM aftermarket lights....

here is the light projected on a wall...not that bad for aftermarket lights.

is that he cut off on those after market head light housin?, i dont think it got a good cut off, can anyone confirm on this????

yes it's freakin' bright but yes, it's not a very good cut off. usually it stray out like a light beam but with all those lights, it's good enough. ;):
 
That performance chip doesn't sound like a very safe way to get more power of the Runner, that redline is there for a reason...I'm not sure I'd wanna risk it. But if it works for you, rock on man.

What 2.5" suspension lift are you running? Did you do a diff drop? Do you have a web site with larger images? I'd like to see some closer shots to see it the body lift is very noticeable. I've been thinking to do a set up just like this but with a 1" body lift.
 
Its a daystar suspension lift and no I dont have a diff drop. The link to my cardomain webpage should be in my profile. If you have a limited 4runner with the flares over the wheels it would be a good idea to go with the 2in body lift. My tires still rubbed when I put 16x10 wheels on, but if you go with something smaller you shouldn't have any problems. The 2.5in suspension lift left my tires still rubbing with only 16x8 wheels.
 
I have an '02 w/ the Sport Package. I'll assume those are the fender flares you're referring to. There used to be a company called ATS. They made control arms that 'pushed' the tires out about 0.5" that prevented any rubbing. How do people get around this problem now?
