can any one help me i was comming up my driveway tonight it is snowing we are suppose to get 15" we have about 3-4" now but i engaged the 4wd the lights all light up fine i feel it is in the 4wd i start to go up my driveway its 800 ft about a 45-55* incline I start to slip and that damn orange vehicle anti skid light comes on my brakes pulsate and you here a weird noise comming from the runner check my manual it says it is suppose to do that so i backed down to get a fresh start at it the driveway is slippery mind you. I pressed the center lock diff to lock in the diff I see the center orange light go on then stay on. I continue up the drive again its start spinning again and that damn anti slip thing is coming on meanwhile since I have the center diff on the vsc says off. should it still be doing that skid indicator and pulsating the brakes when i have diff locked? please help my 96 runner never had any of these fancy options just good old 4wd and i never had a prom w/ it getting up the driveway.
