What color is my 4Runner?

I know it can't be just white and silver.... can it?

what di toyota call this paint scheme...i was lookin for some dupli-color and i saw three or four diffrent whites and silvers...
 
haha i know what your talking about. Your looking for salsa red, or stratospheric mica, or in your case, as boring as it may seem: natural white (im pretty sure)
 
yeah.. haha ... i saw an artic white, super white, and white... do you know anything about the silver cladding though?

im sure a dealer could tell you, im not even sure if they came out with those color names until the late 3rd gens around 01-02 in preparation for the new 4th gen color names.

So i think your trim is silver or if it was a little newer, stratospheric mica.

are you trying to paint some?

I have a nice sized chip on my hood and one on my front flare that i wanted to Dupli-Color
 
Well, you could always play it safe and pick up some touch-up paint from a dealership. It's only 5 or so dollars and it's pretty close to being the exact same color. You don't have to worry about trying to match paint or getting a cheap quality can of paint.

I believe it is, but I've always had problems with it. I've touched up small places on my T4R w/ both Dupli and Factory touch up paint before, and everytime the Dupli eventually starts to chip and slightly change color over time. I've always found the Factory stuff to be a much closer match to the factory paint. It's totally up to you what you want to use, but I prefer factory paint over anything else. A small stick of it is only 5 or so bucks. We're not talking about repainting a whole car :artist:
 
if you want to be exact, there should be a color code label on the driver's side door. i didn't really notice about this until i was helping a friend painting his bumpers which was cashmere silver. but yours look white.

"Thunder Cloud Metallic" is the official Toyota name for the Grey offered in 2002. Not sure if this was the name for any prior years though.

Dude, what happened to your truck?
 
If you're asking me why mine is chipped i have no clue, but does any one know what the cladding color is?

This is a link to the 96. You have a paint code emblem somewhere on your truck. This site should tell you where to find it. My 02 is in the lower right drivers door. This code emblem will break down the code for both body and TRIM. From there you should be able to get the code/name for your trim paint.
