Hey all...

Long time lurker here, but only an occasional poster. The forum has helped me immensely, so I finally got around to taking some pics of my ride after washing it today (figured it was about time I gave back *something*). She has a couple of new mods, including a T&H Eurotech Grill Guard, Magnaflow exhaust, and silver Back Country tube steps. Everything I've added sort of highlights the dark blue / silver theme, which I like a lot. It's a 2004 SE V8 with about 28k miles on it, just turned 2 years old last month. Next to go (later this year) are the tires, but I'm trying to squeeze a little bit more life out of them, seeing as how I just dumped a bunch of money on a new audio system (getting installed this weekend - pics of that hopefully next week).

Nice looking truck, love the color!! Ive been looking at the same bar, but I cant decide between the the stainless and the black. I wasnt sure how the stainless would look on a mostly dark car, but your tube steps tie it in nicely. Where did you get it from?
 
I like the bar. I think that's the best aftermarket bar out there. It fits perfectly with the contour of the 4R.
 
The tube steps came from eBay (made by Back Country) - there was a thread posted on here a number of months back, maybe even almost a year ago. Some guy had them on special... I think we paid $180 + shipping for them, worked out to about $200 (retail online was about $350 - $400 depending on where you looked). They were very easy to install, just unbolt the existing running boards and bolt on the tube steps. They fit beautifully. Obviously not great for off-roading, but I don't do much of that, so no worries for me. There was a thread posted a while back - I'll do a search for it and post the link if I can find it...
 
bug deflector

Hey Fins_Up (or any '06 owners) what brand bug deflector do you have. Does the '04 4runner's grill attached to the hood when you open it like the '06 models. Asking because I'm looking at the EGR deflector but not sure if it will fit right. The Toyota dealer has a factory one that fits the '06 but it is 120 bucks!

Wow, your truck had a great birthday! Those are nice new toys you bought. I like the Eurotech guard as well. My truck only got washed and waxed for its first birthday. :p
