I've took some pictures of the damage but forgot it at the store so i'll post it up later. But my little sister was driving it and she ran a light. Got hit on the left side. Basically, bent the bumper sideways that the metal bumper is like an arch (kinda like McDonald's arch). I'm not sure if it's totaled or not but i invested a lot of electronics in that truck. You don't want to see how mad/sad i was when i first saw the damage. ROAR! Not sure if it's total or could be fixed but either way, mom is making me get a Nissan truck or maybe a Tacoma. You don't know how much i will miss that 4runner. :(

i'll try to get some pictures up soon. I'll probably be selling some stuff also so i'll check you guys updated.

Seriously, sorry to hear that. Don't make any rush decisions on getting rid of it or letting some Insurance A-hole try to make you bellieve a non fact. Get a body shop or two to look at it before you settle with insurance. Don't go in blind.

It's currently at Dub Richardson Toyota Bodyshop right now. Not sure if they could fix it or not. If not, they'll contact my insurance and see how it goes. But yea, we have full coverage on the 4Runner so we'll so what's up. Either way, mom still going to find a truck. Not an suv look. ROAR! :confused:
 
Post up some Pic's when you get a chance...I hate seeing wrecked Runners but If It's gotta go that's a nice send off!
 
Well it sucks about your Runner, but, if Mom is buying this new vehicle then you should probably appreciate whatever she gets you. If you are paying then I would think you should be allowed to choose your own car.

-Volt meter
-LED tube accent light on footwell
-Panasonic headunit w/ Alpine Type-R subs (some weird name brand amp)
-Cobra radar
-carbon fiber interior
that's all i can think of. haha. yes i was a ricer. :D

of course. i'm taking everything out of my car and putting the old stuff back on. the best stuff i have on it is the 02 wheels w/ yokohama tires. but yea, it's frowning =(

mine tried to take my T4R for a trip to Vegas once. "Sure Sparky, let me fill it up for you, too". She didn't get the sarcasm and actually thought I was serious. But the answer was Hell NO of course.

I love my family, just not as much as my 4Runner. :p

That's funny; as I was reading this post my parents came and asked for mine. Theirs is already parked. LAZY...
 
i'm selling the wheels of course. i'll post everything from the 4runner as soon as i get it back from the bodyshop.
 
well, it's official. my 4runner is totaled. don't know how much the insurance is going to buy it yet but just know it's totaled. i have to get all my stuff out of the 4runner on monday and probably tuesday also. going to sell some of my stuff if you guys interested.
