Will my tires rub with Revos 265/70 R17

Hi Guys I would like to know if any of you guys have had rubbing problems with Revos 265/70 R17. Also I would like to know if the spare would fit. I have found that the 265/70 R17's cheaper that the 265/65 R17.

Please let me know I will be buying them shortly.

I went to a BFG AT 265/70/17 and will occasional rub the sway bar on sharp corner turns. (Right now my sway bar is off, though)

That size tire will fit in the spare tire well.

You are rubbing Dan...even with the lift???!! That size should NOT rub even with stock suspension!!
 
Yes. Believe it or not. (I couldn't.) The only time it occurs is on a 90 degree turn pulling the steering wheel all the way to stop. The first time it happened it scared the hell out of me. The traction beep sounded and the whole truck kind of shuddered and the wheel was yanked out of my hand.

I've got the rub mark on the sway bar to prove it. I'll take a picture before I put the sway bar back on. This has only happened to me twice.

WTF?! Wow, this is a first. Are you sure?? Maybe have someone outside while you turn your steering wheel to confirm it. So, i guess that you guys need wheel spacers or something.
 
Once I get the sway bar back on I will double check with a spotter.

But yes, with the OME front I did rub TWICE on the front sway bar. I was able to reproduce the rub a second time after it first happened.

I have 265/70/17 Goodyear ATS on a 2x4 and I have never had them rub. I ran it slowly across a ditch at an angle and turned the wheel lock to lock with no problems. I still have the stock size spare. I just don't see any reason to get the upsize spare when I just have a 2x4. I can always put the spare on the front and put the fornt tire on the back if needed to avoid having 2 different sizes on the drive axle. I recall a post where someone said they had no problems with the Trac/ABS when they had to use the 1 size smaller spare.

But If I took it off road often I would have the correct size spare.
 
When I first went to the 265/70/17 size with my stock clearance I did have some minor rubbing. It only happened with the wheel at or near full turn or when braking when turning.

I went with a 1 inch Cornfed spacer lift in order to restore the clearance in my wheel wells.

IMHO it's a great combination and one I will duplicate on any future T4R I buy.
