Going to look a 4Runner tomorrow...anything in particular I should look at???

I found an 03 SR5 V8 4x4 with only 21,000 miles on it a dealership (its certified used too). From what I can tell in the photos and what they told me its very clean but I will see when I go over it. I was just wondering if there anything in particular I should be looking for that could be an issue later. Thanks all!

Open and close the moonroof a few times and also tilt it up a few times. Make sure it sounds nice and smooth and no funny/crunching sounds. This is assuming it HAS a moonroof.

You may want to gun it on your test ride and see if you get the dreaded sulfur smell. If you do you MAY want to have them do the TSB for it.

Check for rattles from the rear seats or headliner. (also covered by TSB's)

Make sure there is no movement in the drivers seat.

I would also take a close look at the exterior to make sure the truck was not in an accident.

Before you buy it, make sure it doesn't have the piston slap problem like my '04. Let it sit outside overnight, fire it up first thing in the morning and then listen for a knocking sound that appears when you put it in gear. Toyota WILL NOT fix this problem under warranty.
