They come in black too but either way not my style...which is a shame because I would totally buy them without the halo and the useless LED light bar on top.
 
The halo could probably be left unwired, unless it's tided into the side marker light. I agree about not having the halo, as my coworker calls it "fake pimpin'" a BMW. The light should've been just like the original one except with a projector.

If I had a '03-05 4Runner, I may consider one of those lights and gut the projector and retrofit a HID projector in--saves me the trouble to designing a shroud around the projector in the OEM housing.

However, I'd be careful about these lights. If they're anything like the projector ones for the 5th gen Camry, they don't even fit properly on the car. On the Camry, the upper mounting tab completely misses the upper radiator support. The tab doesn't even touch the support, so it has to zipped tied. IMO, pure garbage. Hopefully these are higher quality than the Camry ones. Pics here.
