Up and running

Installed the adapter I bought from RichP. It was a bit intimidating ripping into the dash trim but everything came apart and back together as described in other threads and links. Easier than expected now that I've done it. The hardest part was getting some of the electrical connections apart because of their location, but no biggy.
The adapter works as an extra CD input on the "DISC" button. Easy as "PIE" to use (hahaha...) Rigged it with a 3.5mm stereo headphone input.
Works great but now I'm looking for one more rare item. I have a MP3 capable cell phone that has a small size headphone output jack. I need a special adapter to go from the 2.5mm 3-band male plug to a standard 3.5mm female plug. Does this exist? (A regular stereo reducing adapter doesn't give me stereo sound.)

Just an update.

Ordered and received the Motorola Q adapter from QDepot but it doesn't work on other Motorola phones. The small plug fits into my V360 headphone jack but doesn't work. Time to call QDepot. Anyone know of any other souce for this type of item?

The off-the-shelf item they had was what I first tried and returned because it didn't give me stereo sound. They special ordered a different one that got back-ordered so I cancelled it. Ordered and finally got the QDepot one delivered. Returning that and will probably go back to Radio Shack / The Source to see if they can get the back-order filled.
