I bought these in fall and liked the design because I thought they would be good preventing winter ice/snow build up. ( They are a 1 pc wiper with none of those springs or sliders in them to catch snow)
1. They did seen to help with that ( ice & snow ),but nothing drastically better. I didn't have to get out in a snow storm and bang them off as much as I normally do , but still has to do it.
2. Wiping in general is a little worse then the regular Anco's I've had in the past, both winter blades and summer blades. With the curve of the 4R windshield it does not hit the top 2" of the windshield very well. It does touch but not enough pressure to cleanly wipe. There are an "A" & "B" wiper when you buy them . This simply means the A's & B's are made for different curve's on the windshield. I made sure I got the correct ones designated for the 4R ( can't
remember which one it is off the top of my head).
3.Bottom line I would stick to stock , or after market like an Anco , Trico , ect.... I've had not tried them but may order some PIAA wipers. I think have a good set of wipers is soooo important when driving in snow / rain , mist ect.. to keep you vision clear. So I say save your money on these and go else where. I only tried them because of the snow / ice build up since it is a winter factor here. I also has a coupon with a buy one get one free so I only actually paid for 1 wiper. That was about the best thing I got out of the whole experience , BUT you get what you pay for .
