Yea, that looks like a current 4 Runners chasis, interior and mufler (even though it's driver side mounted). Based on those pics, I'd say we get same chasis but redesigned interior and body. I just hope that body isn't boxy and slab-like ala new Highlander or Land Cruiser.
Can't be a 4-runner unless they're planning to do away with the power rear window (notice the wiper is mounted on the glass). Looks to me something landcruiser-sized or it could simply be a test-bed mash-up to try some new designs out.
1. No more liftgate power window?
2. 5-lug wheels. Probably cheaper that way.
3. The departure angle looks to suburban.
4. And it looks very low to the ground. What gives?
5. So is that a fake right side fuel door? I thought most fuel doors on Toyota/Lexus/Scion cars sold in NA are on the right.

I noticed:
1) The height to length ratio of the window seems off to be a 4R.
2) The exhaust is on the left side... (is there a reason they should change it?)
3) the interior has leather
4) The running boards look intense (most likely they just threw those on)
5) Antenna on the back for GPS?
6) Rear window wiper.
Probably more of the GX than a 4runner. The back window does not roll down on the GX. Too early to tell, but for a GX, it looks a bit wider and maybe a bit shorter. Hopefully they'll restore some of the lines to the body (or maintain the current lines).
I hope the side window in the back is not that tiny opening showing in the picture. I hope the window is larger than that and the tail lights look externally mounted or something definately not flush with the body
