With that diameter tire you shouldnt have any rubbing problems. The problem is that there arent many good tires with that size.
I stayed with the 18" limited wheels and got a set of 275/65/18 Revos (kinda expensive @ 180$ but well worth it).
After doing some miles, It had some rubbing on the front so I installed 1" higher Old Man Emu springs all around. It was too harsh on the back end so I exchanged the rear springs with 1" spacers and the truck looks awesome. It even kinda leveled it out with this setup.

Hey, here are the pics.
Even though I think the limited in the US comes with 17"/18" wheels, I live in South America and the only wheel option here for the limited is the regular 16 wheels and if you want upgrade the 20"-22" aftermarket.
The day after I bought this runner, I fixed my sights on the 18' limited wheels but then found out that everybody had issues with finding good 18" tires but I did a little researching and found that the Revos were made at 275/65/18 and not only did alot of people talk great about them for my style/conditions when driving but also even fit inside the spare! So I ordered from tire rack along with a set of rims from ebay and shipped them out, all they way over here!
I read here that I needed to increase a little height in order for them to prop fit, so I installed 1" higher front springs, a 1" spacer for the back and old man emu shocks. At least that was available in my city.
I found out that not only does the runner ride higher with this set-up (this is my third runner since 2002) but it's more stable at high speeds. I just wish TRD came along and finally release a supercharger. I am sure my wife would start yapping... but I probably would be the first to stand in line to get one. '

My next mod is to upgrade the sound system to a 13 speaker, 1,000watts full surround alpine/zapco/focal system that is already 90% here, I just cant wait for the last pieces to arrive and install it. I truly hope it sounds awesome, its taken me almost a year to plan and come up with it.
Since here there almost no good options or experience available to make modifications, I have planned and decided on most of the pieces for my upgrade projects by reading from sites like this, so I say thanks to those who take the time to publish their findings and experiences.

No Xreas, amazingly enough Toyota only brings two trims here... SR5 4x2 V6 and Limited 4x4 V6 with no extras just the 4x4 and trim. I in turn would of killed for the GG, the GG limited pictures in toyotas website with these rims drop my jaw.
I saw the TRD's they're really nice, I am sure that for the rubbing part it would depend on the tire size. Still my experence is that the 1" lift really changes the truck for the better.

Your 4Runner looks awesome with that tire/wheel combo.
How bad was the rubbing with this particular sized combo? I'm looking at keeping my 265/70/17 winter tires on my 17's and going to a Limited wheel... but I really want the Revo's in that size without having to (right now) increase the height.
The O.D. on my existing Blizzaks is 31.7"(with no rubbing) and on the Revo's it's 32.1" does 3/8" really make that difference to rubbing alot or just when you perform a tight turn?
Also does anybody have experience with two sets of wheels with T.P.M.S.? Will my 06 Sport recognize two different sets of sensors or does it need to be reprogrammed every time I switch wheel sets?

I got the rims from ebay, there is a seller called OEM Rims that has them all the time for 775$, not cheap but well below the dealer price. So you could say its a bargain...

On my 06 Runner I had a 265/75/16 which are roughly (31.6) the same diameter as your tires. I guess anything larger than that you will need to lift. but, since I wanted to lift, it all fit together for me.

I just installed the same Revos' with the OME lift. I am experiencing rubbing on on the upper control arm when I have backing up turning at the same time. I also have the toytec spacer that I did not put on. Would this resolve the problem? Or do I need to get some wheel spacers.
