Exhaust part stolen. What is it?

Someone stole a part of my exhaust. I think they were after the cat conv, but either ran away too soon, or they were after the part they stole only.

Anyway, I Google'd and couldn't find a diagram to show me what the part is called that I'm missing. I'm hoping someone here can tell me what its called.

The thieves left the 4 bolts on the ground, so I believe after buying the part (either online or at the dealership) I should be able to put it back on myself.

I don't even mind buying a used part. So if anyone has recommendations I'd appreciate it. I love my 4Runner and don't want to stop driving it.

Yeah, the thing in your pic is the muffler, the missing thing is the cat conv.
 
Its a national problem. The biggest target being Toyota trucks, SUVs, all models.

Other brands are being hit too.

ya went to a muffler shop to get a performance one. He asked me out my cat and said its aftermarket, apparently they only go for the stock ones?
 
I had my cat cut out a few years ago and have been running it straight into the muffler without one. I have it in the garage but I just haven't figured out where to sell it at yet.

Obviously there's a market for them...

I also have a '95 2wd v6. I had just replaced my stolen converter a month ago. The theives also chopped a large part of the exhaust so had replace part of that too. Cost me $550.

What i found out is that there is an oxygen sensor that is screwed into the converter so when the conv. gets taken so does the sensor. There should be some wires hanging without a purpose next to the cross-member of the chassis. That freaken' sensor is $180!
In California it is illegal to install a used conv. so had to buy a new one.
My mechanic came up with a very clever solution. He installed the sensor seperatly from the conv. He welded an outlet for the sensor a little bit before the conv. So if conv. gets stolen again i would not have to replace the sensor.

The authorities finally caught the criminals. There were two from different parts of the SFBay. One had several hundred converters in a warehouse and the other over two thousand in his shop!
Both were speed addicts.
 
Well, I doubt those are the only two. Its a national problem.

Hrm, most muffler shops I called were aware of the theft issue, but none of them mentioned anything about an O2 sensor.

I'll have to look for this sensor then. I too have a 1995 4Runner V6 SR5 2WD.

Thanks for the help everyone! I found a muffler shop to do it for around $160-$185 parts and labor.
