TRD off road or TRD sport stickers

I've seen a few people here have these on their 4R and they look tastefully done .

Yes I know they do not come that way....

Since there is no TRD version of the 4R , what's your thoughts on putting them on your truck. Granted most everyone else is none the wiser except us 4R nuts.

TRD sticker .............. love it or leave it ??????

I like them and the Sport Editions were the closest thing we got to a TRD edition.
The scoop is a TRD inspired piece and the diff lock is associated with the TRD Tacomas plus all the '99 Highlanders did have the taller coils so at least the 3rd gens had a slightly rarer model.

With 4th gens it is a bit more of a stretch but they do look good on the Sport models;I'd say keep 'em since 4Runners need a little help differentiating them from the soccer mom's Runner next door.

The faux skidplates are also a TRD piece.

I like keeping mine fairly OEM appearing since it fits the TRD Sport stickers nicely and even fools the occasional Toyota guy.

I'm getting ready for my 2nd set and will be on shortly;I was bored with my old ones and will be going with a little color this time.

Are those Tacoma stickers ?

I had these on my Tacoma, as that's the way it came, but definitely don't want them on my 4Runner. I like the clean look of no stickers anywhere and not drawing attention to myself. Plus, I enjoy the idea of not having to repaint if I ever take it off. They also don't seem to fit neatly, anywhere because the panels are so broken up on the 4Runner. Probably on the tailgate it would look good.

I got mine from ebay for $32 shipped last month but I think Toyota had the guy remove them as I can't find them and he had at a couple hundred designs in Off Road,Tacoma,Tundra,All Terrain,Sport and even TRD 4Runner versions in all colors,chrome,camo,etc.

I think you might be able to email the guy at streetgraphics.com since he was still selling them even though he had to remove them from ebay a couple of years ago.

They went on easy and removed with a eraser wheel I used from my friend's body shop and didn't hurt the paint at all.

These are my old ones and the new ones will be on hopefully this weekend when i get back from Florida so I'll get some pics ASAP.

Some say it's "Ricey", but I think they compliment the SE's fairly nicely since they come with the hood scoop to differentiate from the others. To each his own. I like my stickers. Actually I haven't seen any other member with the same stickers I have: TRD 4Runner

I'm always a big fan of Alpha's hangar pics. :bigok:

Personally I like the clean look as well but these decals look nice on Ron's and Alpha's trucks. However, I may go the TRD badge route and stick them on my SE's C-pillars or maybe just one on the tailgate. Haven't found the right ones yet though, I don't want too much color contrast on them. I like the monochrome look.

You can get the raised TRD carbon fiber look badges for under $6/each on most TRD parts websites. I like those if you need a little more subtlety.

I like the carbon fiber badge too but I think that would look nicer on the tailgate. I was thinking more on the lines of this on my C-pillars.

Here's a link to the Japanese goods and wear 2008 TRD catalog. Mostly just accessories. There are several cool decals and badges towards the end. There's another TRD catalog floating around somewhere with actual TRD parts. Sorry but my Japanese kanji, hiragana, and katakana reading skills are rusty.

It appears that the streetgraphics TRD stickers on ebay have been removed by possible pressure from Toyota and this has happened a couple times before and then they pop up on ebay again.

I think you can email him and he'll still sell them to you but it's sorta like on the low down.

I just bought some from vinyldisorder.com they are just the trd logo, not like the ones on tacomas. You can get them in many different sizes and colors. I got white ones, because my runner is white, that I am going to put on my rear cargo windows. They are $2 each and $2 for shipping. I belive the ones on the tacomas are $45.

AlphaQup, where did you get those? That looks really clean, I might be interested.

Alpha got those from the streetgraphics guy on ebay so try emailing them since they aren't on ebay right now.

This week I'll have my Sport ones on since we'll finally have a few nice days to let them cure.
