Pretty basic roof basket -- pretty basic mod. Nevertheless, it looks like this is the place to share your work. Enjoy the pics.

We do a lot of camping. I plan on putting some of the bulky but relatively light items up there. Tents not towing.

Could push gross weight if I load up the roof, a front surf basket and the four bikes on the back...

Always looking to max out my cargo capability.
 
It's a Rola. Probably the least expensive model you can buy. Not the lightest -- weights 35 lbs -- but I thought it was a good buy for the money (and for what I do with it).
 
Looks good. I really like that rack. I have the coleman rack and while you can't really complain about $75 shipped, i would like it to be a bit more low profile and a tad longer as well. I found an extension for it, but its more than I paid for the rack!

I sent you a PM, but just in case anyone else knows the answer to my question, regarding the picture of your Rola cargo basket in this thread:

Does it have the 18" extension installed or is this a picture of the "standard" Rola cargo basket?
 
It was from "etrailer.com" or "hitchesonline.com" -- my brain is having some trouble right now...

It does have the 18" extension.
 
No interference with the sunroof. Lots of wind noise at highway speed if you open up the sunroof. The noise is not bad at low speed.
