Glad to have finally joined the site-I have "lurked" around in stealth mode for a year or so now...hopefully I will be able to contribute something useful to someone-just as many of you have done for me this weekend.

Mods done:
12V source always on
Rear Lower Lights (LED)-this is really cool
Fog Light/Parking Light Switch Mod
Finished my AVIC install-FINALLY
Repaired my 115V outlet-FINALLY, this only has been down for a year or so.

This site is responsible for sparking the fire-drive to do this...MUCH MORE to come..guaranteed.

Welcome to the forum. Nice mods, love those bumper leds. Do you have them wired with parking lights? I'd be cool to have those wired with brake light.
 
Took some doing, down is tied to one auxillary channel of my Matrix RS3.5 remote, that was easy... UP is tied to another-the challenge was finding the power lead for up in the rear liftgate....what a pain in the a_ _ that was:( , scratched my rear tint something awful doing it...anyway, it was well worth it, and a mod I am pretty certain not TOO many folk have already done.

Could you point me to where you found the info on the fog light mod, i'm not ready for the rear window....:biggrin2:

2007 LED Tailights:D :D :D

Talked a friend who was trading his in into letting me swap them out...my stock '05 lights for his LED '07 lights...

That's a great friend in my opinion:awais: :awais:

Wow, hands down, that's quite a friend... can I be a his friend too?
 
Rear LED Mod

I replaced the regular bulb with LED lamps, and then wired them to the parking lights originally...I thought it would be cooler if they were wired to the brakes, and have since swapped it over...now when I stop I have four BRIGHT A$$ed LED Taillamps staring in someones face!! It looks killer.

I was wondering how hard or easy it is to do the "up with remote" mod. I am in the Orlando area and would be willing to meet up, and pay, if it's something you'd be willing to do again.
