Cool! I've been wondering how the subwoofer/nav install differs from the standard 6 speaker setup. Next time I rip mine apart (hopefully never) I'll try to remember to take pics. The procedures are almost the same ... though not identical.

HOW DOES IT SOUND WITH AN AFTERMARKET SUB
DID YOU JUST USE THE FACTORY SUB LINES AS HIGH LEVEL
INPUTS TO AN AMP? DID YOU PUT THE AFTERMARKET SPEAKER IN THE STOCK ENCLOSURE?

The system is phenomenal with an aftermarket sub. I found the factory one totally inadequate for my tastes.

No, I did not use the factory sub lines directly. I used a de-amp converter to return the amp audio signals to their pre-amp levels, and then I fed that to the amp.

No, the aftermarket subwoofer is not in the stock enclosure. I chose not to do that because I wanted a larger subwoofer. However, I did install the amp in that area. Check my other post in this forum for details on the amp install.

Get an aftermarket sub and amp and the JBL 10 is a whole new system. I've always said it lacked it bass, but that's cheap to fix that.

I've placed my amp under the passenger seat and I'm running 2 10" subs
 
Nice job. I could have used this when I was installing my system...had to figure it out on my own! Use the same procedure on the other side in order to remove the entire cargo interior. I had to do this to run my power, ground and remote cables.
