My New Rims and Tires!

Got em' put on about a week ago, finally found time to take pictures. They are Pro Comp Extreme Alloy Series 6005 17x8, with Michelin LTX AT/2's in a 265/65 tire size. Wanted the BFGoodrich T/A KO's but the 265/70 would not fit without trimming and the 265/65 only came in a 10 ply E load rated tire (Ouch).

Love the AT/2's, they are extremely quiet on road, much quieter than my Firestone Destination LE's. They also do very well in dirt. I went camping the day after I got them, in order to get to the campsite there is a 17 mile dirt road. Nothing crazy, a few rocks here and there, a few hills, did not have any problems with traction.

Next upgrade will be TRD Tundra Calipers/Rotors

Also I am selling the takeoffs if anyone is interested.

I like that set up. I didn't realize the new LTX's looked that good.

Does that rim come in a 16"?

In the 6th picture why does the rim appear blue?

and clemsonfan15 i think thats his shirt that makes it blue just shows you how clean and shiny his wheels are. ahah.
just noticed its just like my wheel but not black and i like it!
 
Clemson, 17" is the smallest size the come in, and I was actually wearing a red shirt, those are my shoelaces.:dancin:

I was going to get the black ones but scored these for $112.50 each!:bugeye:

I wonder what knight chrome would look like on my runner?

The performance4trucks.com website had a typo for 50% off that model wheel, I had my local 4wheel parts price match it, then I used a $25 off any purchase coupon for each rim. 5 rims for less than $600 out the door.

I can't believe it actually worked, plus those two sites are owned by the same parent company so the manager reported the price goof, and the %50 price disappeared the next day!
 
I gotta say it looks awesome! I am in the same boat, I have a 99 2WD and I was looking at 265/70 for some 17x9 wheels I plan on getting but I think they might be a little much. There are 35 different tires for the 70 series and like 12 for the 65 series. Plus the 65 series average about $40 more a tire!!! Again nice setup you have there!
 
dude, those wheels would be the coolest things around ever if they made them in that blue swirly color from the shoelace picture

well maybe for a mantle piece...

Wow you have a good eye! Yeah it looks dented but not in the first picture.....
 
Good Eye! The first picture is about 3 months old. That dent was cause by one of my idiot "friends" who thought it would be funny, as I was leaving school, to kick my car with steel toed boots on.:chair: Sometimes i seriously question the wits of my cohorts.:cheers:

When I wind time I am going to remove that panel and get it out with a body hammer and dolly, or maybe just call a paint-less dent removal place. IDK
