Original Equipment Spoiler - Where to get one (other then from Toyota)

Currently, I do not have a spoiler on my 4R. I've been all over the internet and have found decently priced "OEM style" spoilers that will work. However, they are the flat spoiler that were pre-'06 4R's.

Does anyone know of a good place that I can get a decently priced original equipment spoiler for an '06?

I actually (I know I'm one of the few) like the hump on the '06 style spoiler, I just don't want to pay the approximately $700 that the local dealerships tell me it will cost to get it.

I just got mine from the for sale section here... Painted my color shipped for $50. Great deal... But I was gonna do an ebay deal, they are about $90 after shipping and painted to your door.
 
4Runner looks way better w/ the spoiler. Very ugly without it.

My spoiler indeed does keep the rear glass dry when I'm driving in the rain.

Thanks for the info. I've seen that site, just wasn't sure if the brake like pointed down on all of their spoilers.

Do they all point down? I am hoping to get as close to original equipment as possible.

conicelli parts center. seem to be a few $ cheaper than others, i used them for a few things, good prices & customer service.
 
First of all, I guess I should introduce myself. this seems to be a great forum, I've been on here the last few hours reading a ton of useful info!

If I'm not mistaken, the actual interior structure of the liftgate w/OEM spoiler is braced to accommodate the extra weight or forces or whatever the spoiler imparts on it. It doesn't seem like a big difference to me, but apparently it does to Toyota. I don't know if adding an aftermarket spoiler to an unreinforced liftgate would cause any problems, but it is a thought.
 
They are so light it doesnt matter. Toyota guys install them all the time, no reinforcement needed. I mean less than 3 lbs.

Congratulations!

I wonder why they beef up the liftgates then? I guess we can't complain about overengineering. Better than cutting corners! :)
