32" BFG M/T installed no lift (pics)

So I know a guy that put 35" tires on his new JK rubicon and he gave me his old tires (all 5) for $450. I have a lift on the way but I couldnt wait so I installed them and no rubbing at all. Its about a 1/2" gap up front steering locked but it hasnt rubbed yet. I havent done any off roading or anything but I love em. They are 255/75/R17 ( 32.1" tall) compared to the stock 265/65/R17 (30.6" tall). I was impressed also that even the sapre fit in the stock location, very little room I dont think anything bigger would fit there easily.

Thanks guys, I have a cornfed lift on the way and some spidetrax spacers. I removed the mudflaps already and the running boards are coming off next.
 
$450 is a great price

I think I paid close to $1,000 for 4 BFG M/Ts here in Sacramento

and the t4r looks a lot better without the running boards, and you dont dirty your pant leg each time you get in and out
 
Hey 4runnerfourplay; those tires look sick!! Makes your Runner look mean. Any report on the road mannerisms and/or mileage hit since the upgrade? I've been eyeing those 255/75/17s for a week or so due to their size and most of all price; nice upgrade!!

It drives great, it doesnt drive different at all. There is very minimal road noise from the tires. I have only drove the truck maybe 300 miles but I think I may have lost about 1mpg or so. Not even sure I have kept my eye on it and its really no difference in MPG. I expect good this is my third truck with BFG's. I look forward to seeing how it all looks with the spacers and lift on.

Yes I am in the Army stationed here in Germany.
 
I also just picked up 5 BFG MT's with 1200 miles on them for $450

I am waiting off on putting them on until I wear out my tires a little more, but am very excited to get them on and try them out on the trails.

Good deal! By looking at your sig I want my 4R to go in the same direction. I have been comparing lights a lot lately and really think I will go with the KC Slimlites. How do you like them? I am thinking about getting the 130w driving ones.

I love my slimlites, they are very affordable and perform really well. I run two 130w long distance lights and two 100w driving beams (I am pretty sure they do not make 130w driving beams, although nothing is stopping you from putting in a higher wattage bulb once you buy them). My driving beams are aimed outward to cover a wider area than my hi-beams and the long range really light up down straight roads really well so together they do a great job.

Briefly it was as low as $57- I waited a day too late.

Check the Jeep forums for take offs from Rubicons as these are the stock tires on certain ones. I just got 5 for $450
 
nice tires! i just ordered 4 new bfg m/ts for my 4runner off of ebay for $400, glad to see how good they're going to look
 
Thats funny, I took my running boards off the other day and I love it! I think it looks great./ Almost makes the truck look like it is lifted or more ground clearance since the boards are gone. I will snap a pic tomorrow.
