Hey all thought I would post a few pictures of my WEATHERTECH mats and my new HITCH SCHACKLE! I also installed my new IPOD adapter kit and wired it into my console! AMAAAAZING! NO MORE CDS..here is the thread

THE mats where kind of pricey $185 off of Weathertechs eBaY store. They are very nice and fit PERFECT and have a great grippy feel! Super cool!

Looking good! I especially like the receiver recovery shackle. I wish mine was black instead of bright silver. How is that new iPod mini? I have one that is several generations older. Waiting for it to break so I can get a new one.
 
THanks! I just got the NANO 16gb one...love it!

Since I got it all wired up I feel like a granny person who just discovered CDs.

This is so awesome to have thousands of songs at my fingertips in the car!


PS i am driving down to my folks houses down in the keys in a couple weeks. I LOVE FT.WALTON LOVE IT! I want to stop by there for 2 nights any suggestions on where to stay around destin or Navarre i have stayed at the holiday inn sunspree and nautilus...what do you think let me know ! thanks!
 
We are staying on Okaloosa Island and really like it, but there is no lack of hotels here or in the area. I would make a reservation now because the spring breakers are supposed to start showing up soon. (I've only been here since January)
 
Doesn't the Ipod already plug into center console ? Isn't that what the jack in there is for ?
 
i just learned in my ipod thread that newer t4rs have aux input in console.....i dont know what years etc

to bad my 2004 didnt have it.


another guy says the aux input that the newer t4rs come with still sounds crappy and you cant compare it to this PA15 spectrum module...

I love mine!
 
where did u buy the hook up and how much? i have an 06 with the aux hook up but it doesnt charge my ipod and if i get that cord im pretty sure it will show my songs on my screen thanks

We just stayed in Pensacola Beach last week. Got a 4th floor, gulf-side room 150 feet from the water for $125 a night at the Hampton Inn.

Several years ago we stayed in Destin and it is just way too commercialized and built up. I am more partial to Pensacola and the Beach anyway. I think the area is much less built up, much less crowded, cleaner, less congested, and the beaches are cleaner with more of that emerald green water.

Destin/Ft. Walton are nice I just could not believe all of the new highrises that they built there in the last couple of years.

Take a look at Pensacola area on Pensacola Beach. There is a Holiday Inn Express, Hilton, and a Hampton Inn. Both are right off of US 98 which heads East to Destin and is an easy hop over the bridges to get onto I-10. Might be able to catch a Blue Angels show at the N.A.S. too. Best show you will ever see man.

2006-09 4th gens have the auxilary input.

The iPod integration kit gives you control over the iPod via factory head unit, so it can be put away in the console or glovebox.
 
Heh. I forgot how nice it was to have IPOD hookup, v having CDs. I have mine through the scion mod.
