Today was a lot of fun, we need to do it again soon.

My car is filthy, I just hope that those scratches from that branch come out!

Yeah it was, as usual. I'm sure they'll come out. I took the liberty of replacing the picture of us airing up for you :D

How much did you guys air down to?? I can't tell that much of a difference...at least from the pics. GO LOWER!! :)

Is there more the trail than mud pits and dirt road??
 
I really like the light bar and tires on Blair's 4Runner, Josh the Nitto's are looking good as well. Awesome pics.

I went to 20 and Blair went to 18. Over by the John Bull side we got onto some trails that were all rocks, but we could only go so far before it turned into off camber and covered in snow so we turned around. We'll head back out soon when it dries up a bit.

Man I wish I had a buddy here in Florida to go off-roading with! I went out on Saturday but had to turn around at several mud holes because I was all alone without any cell service. Both times I turned around, I noticed very wide Super Swamper tracks heading out of the mud...that makes me very nervous! How did you choose that air system?

To air back up? The MV-80 was just the best bang for the buck. For about $60 (You can find them on sale sometimes for around $54) it filled our tires back to 35 and 40 from 20 and 18 in less than 2 minutes each (Mine timed at around 1 minute, 15-20 seconds per tire)

We just have the same unit because I liked mine so I got Blair one for Christmas since he was looking for one to keep with him.

How long did it take you to wash off all the mud?

And the MV-80 sounds awesome. I have a cheapy Target air compressor & it would take forever.
 
Jeffrey, try 4WheelParts.com. I saw it on sale for 20 or 25% off the other night.

Kenny, it took me about 2 hours to do a full interior/exterior wash including greasing my UCA's, etc.

Thanks! Those tires are great, definitely loving them.

Took me about 3 hours to wash off my truck, including cleaning the interior and a nice wax job.

I, like you, used to have a little cheap-o compressor and it definitely wouldn't cut it. I had a similar cheap-o compressor burn out when I was airing up my friends FJ after wheeling in Mojave so I am very happy to have the MV-80 (Thanks Josh!).

Some of those compressors have a maximum usage of 10 minutes, then require a 10+ minute cool down. That could take you over an hour just to air up considering they take anywhere from 6-10 minutes per tire
