The illustration will be added when the new 4Runner is revealed at the 2009 NY Auto Show. Paint colors are confirmed by Toyota, but we don't currently know the color or code for Graystone Blue Mica.

How can we spot an error as no one has any information? I am curious how you got the informaiton you have so far?
 
Well, when new information comes out and I haven't updated the chart then give me a shout.

I have an enthusiast that emails me daily with information... I'm not sure where he gets it but for two years he's been feeding it to me and 99% of it has been accurate.

I was hoping for the 4.6L V8 to make it in the 2010!

You feel the source is pretty accurate then? I am surprised it will debut at the NY auto show too!

Funny thing today, i just contacted Toyota leasing about extending my lease another 6 months(on my 2006 SE V8) in hopes the 2010 would be out by then. Thankfully the woman said it should be possible even though I already extended it once before.....yeah.

yay!!

I know I said I hope I don't like the new 4runner or else my '08 highlander is in trouble but screw it!....I'm pretty much getting a new one unless they did away with the body on frame. Man, have I missed my 2004 4runner!
 
I wish they would make it available in manual...haha. Then maybe some of the people in my area with manual 3rd gens will be willing to sell them so it won't be so hard to find.
 
That's interesting that it says its a 1UR V8. Toyota announced the HP and torque figures for this V8 for truck applications (315 HP, 327 ft-lb) and that indicates it is a substantially different tune than the 1UR in current use in Lexus models (342 HP, 339 ft-lb). I figured this new one would be called the 4UR.

But I guess the 2UZ is called the 2UZ all the way across, even though there are substantial differences (VVT-i) on the newer ones.

I guess I'm rambling about something pointless.

I guess I am just disappointed that Toyota would pull a Chrysler-ish move and use one engine for both sedan and truck applications (Hemi sucks, boo!). Hopefully the difference in performance numbers indicate that they are actually tuned for their respective applications (Chrysler does not do this with the Hemi, boo! I hate Dodge!)
 
Some of this information is educated guessing... we'll know for sure when the announcement is made. The 1UR and 4UR were both considered, but this one seems more likely. We'll see.
