More Trouble for FJ Cruiser...frame buckling!

Hey all,

As you guys may know, the FJC has had issues with fender tears (see: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?threadid=30130). Now, apparently, there is a new problem that may be related...frame at front buckling! See: http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/misc-technical-discussion/76161-broken-frame-saga.html

Some FJ owners are theorizing that the front part of the frame is too weak...too flexy. I am not sure what to say...since a similar thing happened on the Tacoma too (i think)....
 
On Tacoma forums I have seen similar issues as well for the Tacos, more so the earlier years of the current gen but perhaps the later ones also.
 
Add this to the fact that older Tundras are now starting to break into pieces just like the old Tacomas and I would say all Toyotas may take a hit in value and I imagine customer confidence will eventually begin to seriuosly waiver. I may have to look into some little econo box as a DD so I can keep my 02 forever and have a solid rig when I need it.
