Interest in hump backed spoiler for 03-09 4runner?

There seems to much quite a few that are intersted in the Toyota HUMP style rear spoiler for their 4Runners. Currently, this doesn't exist aftermarkert, only from Toyota, and it's a fortune.

I have the ability to make one that would be an exact copy of the factory one. I've been working the numbers and can do this, but would need 20 CONFIRMED ORDERS. Price would be $399 PAINTED and SHIPPED to your door. This is a deal and it's HUGE.

We need at least 20 people. More talk about this here as well.

I'm in for one as soon as I get back from my upcoming vacation. Should be around the middle of June when I can spend some $$$ again.

Based on reading about past experiences with your products I don't think there is anything to worry about...but would there be any kind of warranty on workmanship/paint?

I never noticed there was was a difference...:bash: Now I have to go and take a look at mine, I think I do have the hump, but have to go and look. Now I am curious as how the non-humped spoiler looks, I'll have to go and look around for an 03-05 4runner...

I am interested, however, I've seen aftermarket spoilers for around $150 painted/shipped. I'd prefer the "bump" but $400 is alot for one of those. How much are they from the dealership. Has anyone priced one?

for everything painted and all my local dealer gave me a price around $800 or so. and for the sport hood which I also want they told me it would be close to $1,000

I agree with Bangers Runner, it would be min $800 from the dealership. I was quoted $780 for the spoiler and $20 for the install kit.

$400 for the OEM style, if Jason can make the mold, would be well worth the approx 50% savings.

As for the other spoilers that you can find for a couple of hundred bucks, yeah they are cheaper and come painted, etc. for $150 to $250 but they do not look OEM, which is what most in this thread would like. Those particular spoilers generally have LED taillights that face down and definitely not an OEM look.

As long as it comes out looking like OEM, it would be worth paying a little extra as opposed to the cheaper looking ones from Ebay. Sign me up.

How would I know for sure if the OEM Hump spoiler, from factory or from Jason B would fit my vehicle? The only reason I ask is because I've gone to 2 dealerships in my area looking to get the OEM Hump spoiler, each time I was told I would need to get a new gate. I have an '06 Limited with a 3rd brake light in the gate. See pic below. I have seen lots of T4R's with OEM Hump spoilers in this area, every one of them have the spoiler+gate without the 3rd brake light. I have yet to see a T4R with the OEM Hump spoiler with the 3rd brake light in the gate. Does this mean that the OEM hump spoiler will not fit a gate with the 3rd brake light, or does this mean that nobody out there has yet to buy an OEM hump spoiler for there T4R with gate and 3rd brake light? Has anyone out there seen an OEM Hump spoiler on a T4R with the gate and 3rd brake light?

I would be glad to sign on for a OEM Hump spoiler from Jason B., if someone can convince me that it will fit my vehicle.

The only reason that they would be telling you that is so that the 3rd brake light hole would be close, i.e. no light at all.

Other then that there is really no reason that you would need the gate replaced. Personally, I wouldn't care if there is a light that is disconnected in the gate. You aren't really going to see it anyways.

Oh btw, I have an 06 SR5 so the only difference between our rides is the packaging. I've held the OEM soiler up to my ride to check fitment, get an idea of what it would look like, etc. and there is nothing keeping it from fitting.
