Alright, now I know that there have been several people who have successfully hooked up DVD video to their stock navigation screens, so my question is more about the quality of the picture after the fact.
At the moment I am trying to decide whether to go with the Audio Authority 9A65 or a pre-assembled unit made by navwithtv.com (the 9A65 route takes component video from the source and translates it into RGB, where as the navwithtv unit takes composite video from the source and translates it into RGB). Given that I have a stock navigation screen, would you really be able to tell the difference in terms of quality between using component video and composite video before translating it into RGB?
Also, if I did decide to go with the 9A65, how would you wire headrest monitors, since most headrest monitors (at least ones that I have seen) only have composite video inputs?
