Anyone see the new Pathfinder?

Pretty nice. Standard 3rd row seating and tow package. I also like the 40/20/40 3 piece rear seat where you can fold down the middle and leave the two outside seats up. Great for snowboards, skis and other long stuff. Keeps the kids separated too.

270hp V-6. Looks as big as the 4Runner on the outside but there is definitely less cargo space.

In Canada, the SE package is $40k. Not bad at all.

Nice on the inside and under the hood- I don't know about the outside yet. I just don't know if the new body-styling is for me or not..

I've got to start saving the $$$$$ to buy an '01 Black SE from my ma.. she wants to get a Trailblazer and I'm probably gonna pay her the cash she would be forkin out on the DownPayment.. I'd do a trade for it and pay the difference for her DP - but I wanna keep my 4Runner..
 
I checked one out a couple of weeks ago when I was at the Nissan dealer getting my wifes 350Z oil/filter changed. I think they look a lot like the 4runner and are priced about the same. I think the best vehicles bang for the buck is now in the mid-size SUV range. Now the Pathfinder would be interesting if they put that big Nissan V-8 in it. :)

Now, that would be a magic show i would pay for...5.6L V8 under that hood! :D
 
Are the exterior dimensions bigger than the 4Runner? If so, then the interior is a big disappointment. The very first thing I noticed was how the rear cargo area is smaller and not because they added more space for passengers. I don't know, maybe the independent rear suspension eats into the width of the area.
 
I think it's fugly. The exterior lacks style. Too boxy for my taste, but not as bad as the Element.
