Limited Running Boards on an 04 Sport

I bought some limited running boards from a fellow t4r.org member a couple of weekends ago( thanks again kglueck) and just got around to putting them on, over the weekend i did the monthly detail and waxing so i decided to take some pics.

looks sweet bro!

I personally wouldn't have gone aftermarket. I mean if I"m going to spend the money, I wouldn't buy stock. Looks good either way so props to ya
 
looks great! glad they could be put to use rather than sit in my garage...they look better on your ride anyways! :cool:

Yeah Thanks, i think they look pretty bad ass myself. I havent got a chance to talk to my dealer to see if i can get an adaptor so the lights will work. I would think there is some kinda fitting so it will work. Not worried about it right now. Ill let yall know what happens
 
:clap: You have done an amazing amount of major stuff really fast! I'm totally impressed by all of it.........except the white in the scoop. And you have taken full advantage of the T4R.ORG classifieds. I now wish I had bought Biff's Billet grill and painted it black. :mad: You are an :artist: with your truck. Those boards are a gigantic improvement.

Thanks Luxury, yeah i was able to get all of this so fast b/c i had been planning on getting the runner for a couple of months and was saving up for accessories b/c i already had the down payment for the truck. Im kinda second guessing my idea on the scoop also, I do alot of driving on the freeways and long roads were when its raining all of the other cars road grim black crap gets all over the white. the only way to clean inside of the scoop is to disassimble it and wipe it down. Which sux really BAD. But O'Well. Yeah that grill would look kick ass painted black, My next project is the stereo system. Ill give some updates but i need to get started first. But thanks once again for the compliment! I like it too!:rocker:

Don't worry man:

- Plate, Hood Buldge (76192-35020) $12.16
- Guide, Hood Air (76182-35060) $11.35

Maybe keep one part white and change the other back to black and see how that looks. Under $25 to go back.........pretty damn cheap. :biggrin2: That is like cheaper than if I want to replace the rear Toyo symbol if I don't like how it turns out when I paint it.
 
WOW Luxury, ive noticed you always have an answer or solution to almost every post! Thank you very much for that info. I think im going to order a set and keep the old set white so i can interchange them if i want. Maybe when i have the black running boards on ill have the black insert, but if i have the limited boards on ill have the white insert. Great idea and its pretty cheap also. Thanks again!!!!:rolling:
And Hitman, i know for a fact it would look sweet on the grey, just look at some of the grey limiteds out there and youll see. I got lucky and a fellow member of t4r lives nearby sold me his, if you get them from the dealer they told me the set would be 1200!? Check into it or search the classifieds. Or you could get them painted by the dealer for cheaper than that they just would not have the lights like the limiteds do.

Your totally welcome. If you try on one piece black and one piece white, be sure to post some pics. I am curious how that will look.
 
looks nice :) i would love the limited boards on my 4runner....i guess i should check the classifieds more often ;)

I'll probably just paint mine...seems to be easier than finding limited boards for sale...i cant find them anywhere! LOL

and i'm not paying $800 from Toyota ;)

The 20s' wheels look very very nice ... where did you get em?

Since it's a deep-dish design, does the wheel slightly protrude from the sides of the SUV or is it flush?

No they dont stick out bad at all. Actually it gives it a more mean squated, agressive stance. If any at all i dont really notice. Maybe like half and inch or less i would assume. Ill take some measuremetns and let you know. Also i post some pics that shows a down the side view. Thanks for the comp, i love these wheels and tires. If you want a more sporty ride and handling then go with the BFGs.

I am trying to find these rims but I'm not having any luck...I pm'd you, but others might be interested in this as well...

The only Enkei Deep-Six rims I can find are a little different...mostly in the centercap area. Yours has the lug nut holes open...the only ones I can find have the lugs covered by the center cap.

Are your rims just an earlier model?

WOW that looks awesome. Yeah i have been thinking bout doing either the clear or the black, BUT the only thing holding me back is the price tag. I would rather have my subs and screens put in than that at this time. I wish i could do photoshop, if you could do the clear ones and see what it looks like thatd be bad ass. Thanks and keep posting
