SAW coilover photos for 4th gen / 05 Taco

Just got some information from Sway A Way regarding their coilovers and they are proud to announce their new coilovers for the 03+ 4runner (non xreas models only) and 05+ tacoma. They come in two diferent flavors: a 2.0" and a 2.5" Diameter coilover.

The 2.0's are geared more for individuals who is looking for a good street ride and can handle moderate offroad while the 2.5" will be awesome for the hardcore individuals who likes to bomb whopps and push the suspension to the limits.

03+ 4runner / 05+ Tacoma 2.0" Diameter Coilover (includes Spanner Wrench)
Part Number: 52000-108-11
MSRP $749.99
(first image, left coilover)

03+ 4runner / 05+ Tacoma 2.5" Diameter Coilover (includes Spanner Wrench and Stock Replacement Swaybar)
Part Number: 52000-108-20
MSRP $949.99
(first image, right coilover, 2nd and 3rd image)

If you are interested in purchasing these coilovers, please visit Camburg or contact your local offroad shop for more information.

As soon as my set arrives, I'll take some photos and do a quick write up on their product Until then, just enjoy these photos I got from them!

yup. I have mine and they're so pretty I almost don't want to put them on. But I will!

I bought the 2.0 instead of the 2.5 due to pricing, as well as the fact that for my uses, the 2.0 is far more cost effective and fitting.

Awesome product, and I'll definitely report more after I've driven with them on for a bit.

If you contact Camburg about these, be CERTAIN to give them the EXACT part number, as the product is new enough that they're still a bit confused and sending out the wrong parts (ones that won't fit because they're for the Tundra or Taco or older 4Runner which didn't require the extra bit of extension between the coilover and the lower eyelet.

You can also get the coilovers from:

http://www.wheelersoffroad.com

one of the main guys over there has a 4th gen. so he knows which part numbers to send and is far more on top of things than some other places I spoke/dealt with.

Thanks, great info! Also, please post info and part numbers on what you are using in the rear.

I wonder how long it will take for Sway-A-Way to update their web site to show this product. Anyone here do web site maintenance for a living? Perhaps you should offer them your services.

Excuse me! I don't know if it's my eyeballs or the picture playing tricks on my eyeballs but the 2.0"ers appear to be a weee bit longer that the 2.5'ers in the first pic. You said the 2.5" ers were on the right. They look shorter than the shock on the left. Am I wrong??

Also, which vehicle is those coilovers being installed on in the 2nd and 3rd photo? A Tacoma or a 4Runner? Toyota should have put these shocks on the vehicle from the onset or at least allow you to upgrade with a TRD package such as these. I'm believing they will start to do so now that the 05 Tacoma is out and closely resembles the 4th gen 4Runner.

Also again, What about the rears? Are they offering something for the rear lift yet??

Both the 2.0's and 2.5's are the same size. It's just the angle of the coilovers. The demo photo is off of a taco. The front suspension is the same so it wouldn't look any different.

The only person that makes rears are:
spacer technology - Cornfed / Daystar / Revtek
coil - Downey Suspension

Sway A Way should update their site but I have no clue. We'll see I guess.

Thanks for answering my questions so soon. I was hoping to get both front and rear from the same mfg. at the same time. I am just going to wait until the Tacoma becomes more popular and mfgs begin pumping out front and rear in higher quanitities.

There are plenty of vendors for the front now. The rears will be a very limited option right now.

I'm hoping to work on some other vendors on the rear and will have some more news soon. Until then the rear stands w/ either the spacers or downey's coil/dt shock combination.

good luck!
