Lunette Ring trailer

Is anyone familer with old army trailer model M101A? It has a lunette ring on the trailer and i wanted to know what i need to couple it to my 07 limited V8? What is the best pintle coupler i can buy? I'm trying to buy this trailer through a liquidation site but don't know the height of the rind off the ground?

I've been looking at the Pintle with the ball and with out. I don't know what i should get...

I am a rookie at towing so i'm over whelmed with information! Please help!!

Attached picture of trailer.

Since you don't know the height you can get a height adjustable pintle mount. http://www.hitchesonline.com/images/43049.jpg

If you tow a trailer with a standard ball mount regularly and don't want to swap hitches out all the time I'd go with a combo ball/pintle hitch.

I have the same trailer and the pintle height is about 24-25 inches. Take a look at my thread below ... My slow expedition/ base camp build. If your truck is stock height you will need a height adjustable hitch mine pulled almost level with a 3" lift and 33" tires custom bumper mount. The factory reciever hitch is another 6" lower than what I have now.
