Moving to Nashville - Tire Recommendations

I will be moving to Nashville next week from Louisiana. I have a 3rd gen 4wd 4runner with the stock 5-spokes that is due for new tires. I am looking for something that will provide some traction in the snow for the periodic winter weather. I will be driving on mostly paved roads, but would like to be able to go offroad for weekend adventures. I don't want something really loud, or larger knobby mud terrain type tires that will drastically drop gas mileage. I will probably go with a 265/70/16 or 265/75/16 in size.

I have been searching the forums for recommendations and can't seem to pin down which tire is the best value. I would like to hear what others are running for this area or similar weather climate areas. It seems a lot of people are running GY Duratrac, Falken Wildpeak AT3, and Kuhmo AT51, among others.

I would get either BFG KO2s, Cooper AT3s, or General Grabber AT3s
