Wow, there must be something in the water! Congrats guys. My first boy is 1.5 yrs old now.
I just went to slade for the first time with my brother last Friday. Entered in from Sand Lick rd. We were stopped by some major ruts we weren't ready to tackle yet, but still had a lot of fun.
Im not yet sure if my schedule will allow a trip on the 8th. How many people are going so far?

Last time we went it was through Sand Lick Rd also. Did you go off to the right then up the hill? The ruts after that look intimidating but very possible. I was bone stock and made it though but that was the easy part. Theres a decent climb after that which you either need good tires or a locker and a lot of skinny pedal.
Last time I was up we ran into some Toyota buggies and they couldnt believe what I had done bone stock with 265/70's. There only response was Can't be a Toyota.

Yep, we went right at the split and up the hill. We turned around at the big ruts next to the steep drop-off. My brother and I would have given it a try but we were short on time.
We also went left at the split and stopped where the trail turned into the creek at an old power station. I put one wheel in the creek and it sank to the bumper. I would like to try and get past that point.
I have a locking transfer case and limited slip on the front and rear axles. It might work to get up the hill. I need new tires though.
Your truck looks great. How much lift is that?
I live in Lexington so I can meet there. Im still not sure about the 8th yet. Harlan trip in March may work out.

Yeah next time we go to Slade we are going off to the left from what I hear there is more back in that way. Thanks its about 4" of lift or so.
If I dont get an alignment by this weekend I a may be riding along. I need new steering rack bushing and they will be here Thursday so hopefully I can get them on and an alignment before Sunday!

Did you get your alignment done? I know the Toyota dealer will do it same day in around an hour for around $75.
What time is everybody going out there today?
