I've been a very excited and proud owner of a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 for about 3 months now. The vehicle was previously single owner, spending it's last 100,000 miles and 6 years in Snohomish County. Still very much in stock form, it's riding on SR5 16" stock rims with Toyo Open Country A/T tires. I've had the opportunity to take it off roading in Central WA near and around Cle Elum. I've loved every moment of it, and am now ADDICTED!

Where are some good spots around Western WA, more specifically around Snohomish County (Granite Falls, Monroe, Gold Bar, etc.) I know Mountain Loop Hwp is listed online.... but, can someone help to describe specifically if there's current accessible trails along MLH?

I see that Reiter Pit was once very popular but is now currently shut down. I also read about Monte Cristo off of MLH, however the access road to that ghost town is gated shut as well.

Seems like most places listed or catelogued online are closed, gated, or concrete blocked in.

Is this too much to ask? I'd prefer not to drive out to the Olympics or deep into Central WA.
