FS: Smittybilt Defender Roof Rack and Sherpa Bag (never used, $300 obo) Phoenix AZ

SOLD.

Let me ask you an honest question:

When is the last time you went on a REAL adventure? I'm talking charcoal fire, stuck in mud, winching out, night sky of a billion stars, not wanting to leave the warm microclimate of your sleeping bag...kind of adventure?

Well that was my plan with these things. But it hasn't come to pass. I would like to pass them on to someone else who will.

In addition to the 3rd gen 4Runner, the roof rack as it sits is fully compatible with the following vehicles:

Ford Explorer (1991-2002)
Jeep Grand Cherokee (2002-2004)
Mitsubishi Montero Sport (1999-2006)
Nissan Pathfinder (1987-2013)

The roof rack (Smittybilt Model 35504) can also be used on the following vehicles, but with specific mounting brackets, as seen in this complete application guide:

Dodge Durango (1997-2005) > needs DS6-6 brackets
Ford Explorer (2007-2008) > needs DS10-6 brackets
Isuzu Trooper (1998-2001) > needs AM-6 brackets
Jeep Grand Cherokee (1993-2001) > needs DS5-6 brackets
Nissan Xterra (2000-2013) > needs DS17-6 brackets

I would even try calling Smittybilt and offering the existing DS2-6 brackets in exchange for your vehicle specific ones. You can use the existing fasteners.

I also have a Sherpa Bag that I have never used. This is tough, waterproof, and weatherproof and will take anything you can throw at it. It can also be placed on anything with a flat surface and fastening loops. Doesn't even have to be a vehicle. You can clip it on top of your house for extra storage. If you want to.

Only local pickup (Phoenix, AZ) at this point. I'm asking $300 for both. Make me an offer. This is a huge loss for me ($570+$160=$730).

Here is a couple of photos:

Thanks!
