Beach Driving

I'm currently down here on the Outer Banks, my first trip here w/ my 05 4Runner V8. A note to anyone heading to the beach, disengage the VSC/Traction Control before hitting the sand. I tried driving with it engaged (tires down between 18-20lbs) for a while but couldn't take the constant beeping and control the rig was taking over. Disengage & you'll be he much happier person, and your 4Runner will do sooo much better. Has anyone else noticed the same thing? For a while I was wishing I had my old Mazda back. However, now without it thinking for itself, it's awesome on the beach.
