I just had to post another pic of my CB install progress. I took the faceplate off the CB and mounted it to the center cubby drawer. It would be easy to remote mount the faceplate of the Uniden Bearcat 880 by simply extending a couple of wires, except for 1 ribbon wire (Flexible Flat Cable, FFC) for the LCD display. The longest ribbon wire I could buy online was 7 inches, so I'll need to mount the rest of the CB box nearby. Directly behind the drawer should work... Hopefully by next week it will be ready for an antenna and power wires!
