I have michelin 275 55 18's on my trd 18" wheels. If your doing a lot of highway miles, stick with the 265's.

285's will add to the rolling resistance, and the tread has to do more work to displace the volume of water when it rains.

But, if you want that wide track stance, and can minimize the amount of trimming you have to do, go for the 285s.

Just my 2cents.
