V8 2006 XREAS Shock Replacement Time, 5100x4 or 6112/5100 combo?
So i finally have the $$ to replace my shocks, my truck has 72000 mi on it, V8 w RAS. i was initially sold on the 6112/5100 combo, but now i'm looking at the costs and its a steep difference...is it really worth the extra 500-600 for the 6112's up front? how are the 5100's all around versus the combo? would love to hear opinions, i know i've read that the 5100's are stiff, but if anyone has tried both it would be a huge help to hear your thoughts.
im seeing the combo for sale at shock surplus w the 6112's assembled and the rear 5100's for $969...whereas the 5100x4 is $399...big difference.
