What are the codes you are getting? (And which version of 4Runner), you really want a smoke machine to test the evap system to find either a leak etc. A scanner that can do evap test is only going to pin point if it's a(n) evap component not opening or closing properly not show you where a leak could be (used to have a Snap-On Solus Ultra)
