Most national parks I've seen make you pay to enter, so I don't even bother going there. Plus the national parks I have been to, such as Death Valley, are always closing trails and roads, so you can't even count on getting to where you want to go.

Maybe there are places like that in AZ, but I never found them. All the fenced properties I saw were posted No Trespassing. It sucks to spend hours driving to someplace only to find it inaccessible when you get there -- especially when my time is so extremely limited.
