I agree with you. My truck will never have glass for that reason. It looks “almost” stock to the untrained eye. Most people don’t even notice anything crazy about it at meets or wherever until they notice the bypass up front. The only thing stock fenders really limits you on is tire size, especially with aftermarket wheels. I have 275/70/17 bfgs and eat my fenders at full bump. I know a few guys that keep the stock trail wheels or run the TRD forged wheels and can fit 34x10.5/17s with zero rub. I may have to switch to something similar.
