I'll say this, I mounted that LED bar on the front bumper for convenience. It was easy to mount it straight to the bumper, as opposed to cutting into anything. Having said that, it makes getting into your grill (when you pop the hood) a little more difficult as you have to reach all the way under and around. That also has to do with the satoshi grill i made though, not just the LED bar.
If you have a hood scoop, I personally would mount it behind there. My neighbor (@papabeach) has one behind his 3rd gen, and it's very clean and professional. On another note, I enjoy my Rigid pods wayyyy more than my LED bar. If I get another LED bar, I would mount on the roof with amber settings, IMO.
