Didn't know you had to trim the skid..My buddy has KDSS and I don't remember him trimming it,because if he did he would have *****ed about it because that is some decent thickness aluminum which shouldn't be easy to cut with standard tools.
I want to get one too,but with tax and shipping it comes out to about the same price as what I priced from the dealer,$279.
Now if I can in-store pickup in NH saving me tax and shipping,they got a deal.
Interesting..I looked online to check the prices of the biggest Toyota dealer around,I entered the part # for the skidplate and it said discontinued. All the other sites have the skid at $286,available for order.
Did they change the skid plate for 2020 ?
